AFCON 2015: Ghana reach final following chaotic match

Feb 5, 2015 | Soccer | 0 comments

Ghana will be seeing Ivory Coast at the Africa Cup of Nations final after beating the hosts Equatorial Guinea 3-0, in a match marred by crowd trouble; bottles were being thrown from the stands, and a helicopter flew over the stadium to try and maintain control. Jordan Ayew scored a penalty for the Black Stars before Wakaso Mubarak put one in late in the first half; then came a goal from Jordan’s brother Andre Ayew. The hosts challenge the DRC in Saturday’s 3rd-place match, and the final takes place on Sunday.
