THE JUICE WITH JEM
Beloved comedic actress Ann B. Davis who played the devoted housekeeper ‘Alice Nelson’ on the television sitcom “The Brady Bunch”, and won two Emmy awards as the forever-single secretary on “The Bob Cummings Show,” died on Sunday at a San Antonio hospital. She was 88 years old.
According to CBC.ca, retired bishop and longtime friend of Davis’ Bill Frey explained that she fell and hit her head on Saturday morning at her San Antonio home, then suffered a subdural hematoma and never regained consciousness.
A planned autopsy for the cause of Davis’ death is planned for sometime today.
Davis received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame back in 1960 following the success of the “Brady Bunch” series, who was among the first U.S. television shows to focus on a non-traditional family.
