As a founding member of the legendary Babyblue Soundcrew and the architect of The All-Star Concert & Mix Tape Tour Series, Kerry Lee produced and performed with a host of world-renowned platinum selling artists spanning over 42 cities, 7 countries, and 3 continents. Babyblue was one of the 1st MixTape DJ crews to sign a major recording deal with a major label (Universal), releasing three albums (“Private Party 1 and 2“as well as an Old School compilation titled “Urban Nostalgia”), which earned Platinum and Gold status respectively. Kerry Lee also participated in Canadian Urban History when he performed Live on BET’s Planet Grove with Miss Jamaica Host Rachel which served as a launching pad for his solo international endeavours residing part-time in L.A., Jamaica, as well as New York. Kerry Lee has also spent a significant amount of time and resource working with charitable initiatives aimed at aiding those most poor and marginalized living at or below the poverty line. This is included mentoring, teaching, coaching, speaking to and consulting with various foundations both within the country and around the world. After stepping aside from the world of music entertainment, Kerry Lee utilized his education and firsthand experience in order to bring a unique perspective to the world of News Media Broadcast as a writer and journalist appearing on, producing, and writing for various shows across several networks including, Discovery Channel, Sports Net, & the Score while lending his voice to CBC Radio One, T.S.N. Bell Global Media and the Raptor Channel. His tag line, “There is no defense against love”, serves him well as the host of Steps After Dark.
