The West Indies struggled in a 2-0 series washout by Australia, who flattened the hosts by 277 runs in the second Test at Sabina Park in Jamaica. Set 392 for victory, the Windies collapsed quickly to 114 all out. Bowling for the Aussies, Mitchell Starc 3/34 from 13, Josh Hazlewood 2/18 from 10, Nathan Lyon 2/12 from 7, and Mitchell Johnson 2/23 from 8 overs. Australia’s Steve Smith was the player of the match for his 199 in the 1st innings; Hazlewood is player of the series.
