Australia’s top six batsmen rattle India

Australia’s batsmen did not disappoint in day 2 of the 4th and final Test against India in Sydney. The Aussies declared their 1st innings on 572/7, with two centuries by the skipper Steve Smith 117 and David Warner 101. Other top scores: Chris Rogers 95, Shane Watson 81, Shaun Marsh 73 and Joe Burns 58. Bowling for India, Mohammed Shami picked up 5/112 from 28.3 overs. Now, at close of play on the second day, India are 71/1 in reply, with Lokesh Rahul on 31, and Rohit Sharma on 40. India trail by 501 runs with 9 wickets remaining.
