England’s Gary Ballance made the fourth ever century in his Test career in day 4 of the first Test between England and the West Indies at North Sound in Antigua. Ballance’s 122 included a 4th wicket stand of 114 with Joe Root 59. This added greatly to England’s second-innings score of 333/7 declared. Wicket keeper Jos Buttler also added 59 not out. Bowling for the Windies, Jerome Taylor took 2/42 from 14, and Sulieman Benn took 2/115 from 26. And so as they chase 438 for victory, the Windies closed day 4 on 98/2 with Devon Smith on 59 and Marlon Samuels on 2. The West Indies require another 340 runs for victory.
