RAVENS QB JOE FLACCO NAMED SUPERBOWL MVP

The Baltimore Ravens can call themselves world champions as they defeated the San Francisco 49ers, 34-31 in a Super Bowl thriller.

Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco was named the Most Valuable Player for the game after throwing three touchdown passes.

Jacoby Jones also of the Ravens made history as well as he returned the opening kickoff of the second half and ran 108 yards for a touchdown.

After Beyonce’s electrifying halftime performance at the event, the lights in the arena went out and took 30 minutes to come back on again.

To make things more interesting, the head coaches of the Baltimore Ravens and The San Francisco 49ers are brothers.

This game is also the final game of Ravens player Ray Lewis, who announced earlier in the year that this season would be his last.

This is the Ravens’ second time hoisting the Vince Lombardi championship; their first was in 2001.
