BCCI denies World Cup money deal with Windies

The BCCI in India is denying word that they struck a deal with the West Indies Cricket Board to pay part of their World Cup earnings to India. The Trinidad Guardian reported that these funds would go toward the almost 42-million dollar settlement, imposed after the Windies’ walkout of their India tour last year. The BCCI has already threatened legal action if the West Indies didn’t pay up by early February, but the WICB says the courts in India have no jurisdiction over them.
