Will This Racial Madness Ever End?

19-year-old Keisha Austin changed her name because of the negative racial backlash she was getting.
“Video vixens, neck-rolling and Maury Povich tabloid fodder,” are a few of the references that Keisha says are associated with her name.
The 19-year-old said students would tease her and ask if she had a “La” or “Sha” in front of her name.
A teacher had even asked her if she spells her name like the singer Ke$ha.
Keisha’s mother granted her an early Christmas gift of a $175 name change, in which Keisha will use it to become Kylie.
