The show must go on…at least that’s what Bill Cosby’s camp says. The embattled 77-year-old comedian will be performing tonight at Centre in the Square in Kitchener and he has a message for his fans.

In a recent statement he said “if a disruption occurs, please remain calm until the matter is resolved and do not confront the person making the disruption.” Cosby who is facing several allegations of sexual misconduct from more than 20 women also has two stand-up shows in London and Hamilton this week, both of which will likely have protestors inside and outside the show despite the fact that most of the tickets are sold.

The veteran comic has never been criminally charged with any of the alleged incidents. In the meantime a counter fundraiser has been created to happen at the exact same time as Cosby’s show. ‘The Voices Carry’ event aims to raise money for Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region and the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region, and reportedly several politicians including Kitchener Mayor Berry Vrbanovic will attend that event instead of Cosby’s peformance.
