Toronto FC has named Bill Manning as the club’s president, and he takes the new role on October 16. The 50-year-old Manning was the head of Real Salt Lake for eight years; in that time, he was named Executive of the Year twice, and the Utah club won the 2009 MLS Cup plus two conference titles. TFC has been without a president since 2013, when Kevin Payne was dismissed after only nine months at the helm.
