As a kid growing up in South Africa I hated apartheid.I don’t even think a lot of people know what apartheid means. Before the word used to be segregation and people did not like that word so the white man decided to use the word apartheid because there is no translation for it in English. Today looking back Mandela was a big inspiration for me. Growing in South Africa at the age of sixteen I realized that the system was wrong and ended up in jail. My parents always told me to stay out of politics but because of Nelson Mandela I was part of the fight for freedom. With the inspiration of Nelson Mandela my fight and other South Africans was not invane. RIP Madeba. You will be forever missed.

During the mid-80s, while attending York University,I was involved in the formation of the anti-apartheid coalition. It was during that time that Samora Machel’s plane was shot down by South Africa under the Pik Botha Apartheid regime. The assault on Mandela and the freedom fighters was incredible. Our group decided to march on the SA consulate. During the march, I carried the mega-phone and led one of the groups in chanting the slogan “free Mandela, jail Botha”. As we repeated the chant, I unwittingly shouted in the megaphone ..”jail Mandela, free Botha”… Everyone stopped in bewilderment and just burst into laughter. I quietly handed the mega-phone to someone else and re-grouped :). I thankful for this awesome man who loved his fellow human being so much that he was willing to lay down his life for them. The struggle continues!!!

This goes further than Nicolas all pagan holidaze came from ancient Africa its all started from the first king on this earth his name is nimrod and his wife/Ashtar/easter/semaramis and son tammuz all pagan holidaze like Christmas, easter, thanksgiving google ”EVIL HOLIDAYS” again none of these holidays has nothing to do with the bible not even Christianity,, note the bible is about the children of Jacob/isreal and how they should praise the most high and how they should interact with each other, also about their past present future the most high chose them to be a priest unto him their jobs is to bring all humans/nations unto the most high by keeping the most high laws/commandment/statutes/judgments,, it was never about religions, Christianity, jews, islam, the most high Yah/creator is about obedience not about sacrifices, so all these pagan holidaze is against the most high abomination see jeremiah 10 again the bible is against all pagan holidaze, see site Hebrew Israelites dot org again who are these biblical Israelites they are the so called negoes/trans atlantic slave trade.

First I would like to thank Mr. G. for ‘fighting a good fight and staying grounded’; for bringing us the best of 2013 in the form of G98.7FM. The fantastic team you have put together go beyond expectations in bringing us the news and keeping us up-to-date and current. Thank you Mr. G. for being fearless in presenting the views of your listeners and asking the right questions. I enjoy the debates. The African groove with MC Bonde brings Africa to us – totally awesome, I get to learn the African dances too. Mark and Jem you brighten my mornings by bringing joy and laughter, my office get a good laugh over your idiot thing; you are a good boost for the day. Big Red you make my noon time the best. Ohhhh Dr. Love you are like red wine after a long, hard day’s work; my calm, peace and stress relief! But Dr. Jay you give me a metabolic boost that makes me miss home and long for the beaches and Carnival! You also keep me fit(TU). I dance to your groove in the office, in my car, on the streets, whenever and where-ever – “dey tink ah crazy but ah tel dem I is ah Trini!” Now I love reggae time to get me party hat on, with Spex the Boss! To set the tone for the evening events. Thanks to your DJs who know their stuff – the right music for the right mood and the right time. We can’t go wrong! Lastly, for those who work behind the scenes, you are the backbone of the station – we need you and truly appreciate you – in Administration, Accounting, Public Relations, Sounds, Electronics, PC Technicians, Drivers, Couriers, House-Keeping – I Love All of You! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I look forward to greater and better things in 2014 for G98.7FM. You have touched many lives in 2013. If I missed anyone, please forgive me and May God Bless You All.
