     Bolt, Gatlin enter 200m semis in Beijing

Fresh off his stunning 100m victory, Usain Bolt booked his spot in the 200m semifinals at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing, winning Heat 3 with 20.25. Justin Gatlin also qualified; he won Heat 4 in 20.19 seconds, and in that same heat, Jamaica's Nickel Ashmeade came in third with 20.40. Kenya's David Rudisha claimed his second 800m title in 1 minute 45.84 seconds, and Genzebe Dibaba of Ethiopia found her first world title in the 1500m, clocking in at 4 minutes 8.09 seconds. In the women's 400m semis, Bahamian Shaunae Miller led Heat 1 with 50.12; coming in second, Christine Day of Jamaica with 50.82. Also in from Jamaica: Stephenie Ann McPherson finished Heat 2 in second with 50.32, and Shericka Jackson was second in Heat 3 with 50.03. (Image source: IAAF)
