Canadian Rapper to Replace Jian Ghomeshi on the "Q"!

CBC has selected Canadian rapper Shad as the replacement for Jian Ghomeshi on the cultural affairs radio show Q. The network says they were seeking a forward and original thinker, and they believe they got one in Shad.
The 32-year old rapper hails from London, Ontario where he also received a business degree from Wilfred Laurier University. Shad, who has drawn attention for his electric personality, also won a 2011 Juno for best Rap Recording.
Executive director of CBC Radio Talk, Cindy Witten says that management observed over 200 potential candidates. Shad announced that he’s honoured to join the Q team and says his mission is to make a positive contribution to culture and people’s lives.
