CPL 2015: Patriots fall in first ever match to Zouks

The St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots faltered in their debut, when the St. Lucia Zouks dropped them by 7 wickets at Gros Islet. The Patriots made 149/6 from 20 overs; captain Marlon Samuels made 52 not out. Bowling for the Zouks, man of the match Shannon Gabriel took 3/19 from 4, Fidel Edwards 2/29 from 4. Johnson Charles hit an unbeaten 69 off 44 balls, with 3 fours and 5 sixes, to elevate the Zouks to 150/3 from 15.4 overs; wicketkeeper Andre Fletcher added 48. As for the Patriots’ bowling, Canadian T20 debutant Nikhil Dutta picked up 2/32 from 4 overs.
