Jason Holder’s bowling attack helped to keep the victories coming for the Barbados Tridents, who thrashed the T&T Red Steel by 8 wickets at Kensington Oval. The Red Steel found themselves in trouble in their total of 95/9 from their 20 overs. The skipper Dwayne Bravo’s score of 30 couldn’t hold them up. Tridents bowler Jason Holder was the player of the match; the Barbadian took 3/11 from 4 overs. In response, the Tridents secured an easy victory with 98/2 from 13.1 overs, thanks in part to the openers Dwayne Smith 33 and Dilshan Munaweera 39. Shoaib Malik was unbeaten on 10 and wicketkeeper Jonathan Carter on 15. Bowling for the Red Steel, Sulieman Benn picked up 2/24 from 3.1 overs.
