Comedy Duo’s Hit Song to Become a Children’s Book
Norwegian comedy duo Ylvis, have teamed up with Simon & Shuster Children’s Publishing, to release a children’s book based on the popular song “What Does the Fox Say”.
The publishing company will release a picture book with the same name on December 10, in time for Christmas!
The music video, which has reached over 217 MILLION, hits, features brothers Vegard and Bård Ylvisåker, collectively known as Ylvis, dancing around a forest in fox suits as they attempt to contemplate what exactly a fox sounds like.
Various sounds were concluded to be “Ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding!” and Wa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pow!… lol
The brothers who have been variety performers in Norway since 2000 when they were talent spotted in their school choir, host a late night talk show called I Kveld Med Ylvis (Tonight With Ylvis) twice a week on Norwegian channel TVNorge.

Fun Fact: The music video appeared in the third season of the brother’s show and was produced by Stargate, the makers of Rihanna’s videos, and recorded at Jay-Z’s Roc the Mic studio in New York.
This was in order to fulfil’s Ylvis’s aim of making the stupidest song possible with the most expensive production team possible.
