In his first comments since being banned from basketball for life, Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that he made a terrible mistake, and he’s seeking forgiveness. Sterling was recorded asking a woman not to associate with Black people in public nor bring them to his games, but he believes he was set up. The NBA has started the process to remove him as owner of the team. At the same time, his wife Shelly Sterling spoke to ABC News on Sunday, saying she was prepared to fight any attempt to take away her stake in the team.
