A 5.0 magnitude earthquake shook Trinidad and Tobago this morning, but there were no reports of damage or injuries. The University of the West Indies’ Seismic Research Centre (SRC) says the quake occurred just after 10:30 this morning, about 62 km northwest of the capital Port of Spain, and 103 km south of St. George’s, Grenada. Some people in Grenada and even St. Vincent and the Grenadines also reported feeling shaking, according to comments on the SRC’s Facebook Page. This is the first earthquake recorded by the Centre for 2016.
