SUBWAY NOT MEASURING UP
According to a stream of photos posted online by angry customers around the world, the famous Subway foot long sub (12”), only measures to be eleven inches.
Earlier this week an Australian man posted a photo on Subway’s Facebook page of his foot long sub alongside a measuring tape that read 11 inches, along with the caption “subway pls respond.”
Since then customers around the world have posted photos and comments of their short subs. One customer said, “I always thought I was getting 12” subs… I do smell a lawsuit.”
Some customers have even gone as far as vowing not to eat at the restaurant chain again.
“I will NEVER buy anything from Subway now. Ever,” posted Marius Andre Stensaker on the companies Facebook page.
Subway has responded to criticisms saying that the size of the bread can vary when it is not baked to the company’s exact specifications.
Subway is the largest fast-food chain in the world with more than 38,000 restaurants in 100 countries.
