GALLOPING WHILE INTOXICATED
A man in Florida was accused of being in transport while intoxicated and leading a police chase.
The man was not operating a motorized vehicle, he was accused of being intoxicated while riding his horse.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports that 29-year-old Charles Larkin Cowart pleaded no contest Tuesday to obstructing an officer without violence and interfering with railroad tracks.
The man was on his way to his grandmother’s house when he was pulled over. Officers told the man to get off of his horse; the man refused to get off his horse and galloped away. Eventually the horse became exhausted and Cowart started running on foot.
He was eventually caught and arrested a short time later.
Congratulations cowboy, you are today’s Eeeediot Ting!
