England cruise to massive Test victory over South Africa in DurbanDecember 30, 2015
South Africa has had trouble with the bat in their previous tour of India, and it looks like those same troubles came back for them on home soil. England thumped the host nation badly by 241 runs at the first Test in Durban. The South Africans’ pursuit of 416 for victory proved to be too much, as no batsman in their second innings scored higher than 40 by Dean Elgar, and so they crashed to 174 all out. England fast bowler Steven Finn picked up 4/42 from 15 overs. Moeen Ali, who took 3/47 from 26, was named the player of the match for taking a total 7 wickets; that’s 4 in the first innings and 3 more in the second innings.
