Ex-cyclist Lance Armstrong speaks out on downfall after doping confession

Jan 27, 2015 | Other Sports, Sports | 0 comments

Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong has spoken for the first time since losing a record seven Tour de France titles, after he confessed to doping two years ago. In a BBC interview, Armstrong says there’s still an opportunity for redemption, and said he’d use drugs again should he return, but only back in 1995, when doping was more pervasive. In 2013, Armstrong confessed to cheating in a TV interview with Oprah Winfrey. Along with losing the Tour titles, he was given a lifetime ban by the US Anti-Doping Agency.
