England’s FA has charged two players with spitting on each other during Manchester United’s 1-nil win at Newcastle. One of the players charged was Newcastle’s Papiss Cisse, who has apologized. The other, United’s Jonny Evans, has denied deliberately spitting at Cisse. If found guilty, both men will be banned for six games, and Cisse will miss an extra game as he’s already received a ban this season.
