FIFA considers nine-year ban for Valcke

Jan 5, 2016 | Soccer, Sports | 0 comments

FIFA is recommending a nine-year ban from soccer activity for former secretary general Jerome Valcke. In October the Frenchman was provisionally suspended for 90 days over claims that he was planning to profit from World Cup ticket sales. Valcke is also dealing with bribery allegations, but has denied any wrongdoing. The proposed nine-year ban would be a year longer than the ban already imposed on FIFA President Sepp Blatter and Vice-President Michel Platini.
