FIFA has turned down appeals against 90-day suspensions imposed on President Sepp Blatter and Vice-President Michel Platini. Both men were suspended by FIFA’s ethics committee amid corruption claims. They’ve denied wrongdoing, and could challenge the rejection of their appeals at the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Platini is one of seven candidates looking to succeed Blatter as the head of FIFA ahead of the election on February 26.
