Former IAAF president Lamine Diack has been provisionally suspended as an honorary member of the International Olympics Committee (IOC). Diack is accused by French authorities of taking bribes to protect doping athletes. This follows a report by the World Anti-Doping Agency accusing Russia of widespread doping. The IAAF was implicated in that report. Diack has been head of the IAAF since 1999, but he was replaced in August by Sebastian Coe.
