Eating Chocolate Cures Depression!

Scientists have found that chocolate has a chemical that helps counteract depression.
The cocoa bean, or pure ground cocoa, contains a lot of the vitamins and chemicals necessary to those suffering from depression.
The vitamins found in cocoa are Vitamins B1, 2,3,5, and 11 which, taken with other vitamins, help release energy from food, and aid the formation of the body’s defenses.
Vitamin D is also found in cocoa and its role is to help the uptake of calcium and phosphorus, good for teeth and bones.
Vitamin E has antioxidant properties, which help build muscle, and promote the production of red blood cells, and protects cell walls.
The carbohydrates in chocolate increase neurotransmitters, such as serotonin, dopamine and phenylethylamine, which ease depression, and give general feelings of happiness.
Cocoa also contains M A O inhibitors (monoamine oxidase inhibitors), and they prolong the benefits of neurotransmitters. Cocoa also increases endorphins, which increase pleasure and reduce pain.
Now we can stop feeling so guilty!
