It was the final Diamond League showdown in Brussels, and Justin Gatlin is probably relieved to not see Usain Bolt on the track with him. The American was named the overall Diamond League champion in the men's 100 metres, clocking in at 9.98 seconds. Gatlin edged Femi Ogunode of Qatar, also with 9.98. Jamaica's Asafa Powell finished fifth with 10.04. In other races, Dafne Schippers of the Netherlands beat Allyson Felix to seize the women's 200 metre title; Schippers won with 22.12, just ahead of Felix's 22.22. And in the women's 400 metres, Shaunae Miller of the Bahamas came out on top with a time of 50.48 seconds. (Image source: BBC)
