“Glory” Wins 'Best Original Song': Oscars 2015 Highlights!

Now the 2015 Golden Globe winners Common and John Legend can add an Oscar to their list of career achievements!
“Glory” won the Academy Award for ‘Best Original Song’ for the movie “Selma”. It was the award the film received for the night. Shortly efore their category was presented, Common and Legend performed a powerful performance of the song, leaving many in the audience in tears!

During the “In Memoriam” segment, actress Meryl Streep led with the words “A single person is missing for you and the whole world is empty.”
The honorees shown in the video tribute included Robin Williams, Maya Angelou, Mickey Rooney, James Garner, Lauren Bacall, Ruby Dee, Eli Wallach, Bob Hoskins, “Graduate” director Mike Nichols, “Jurassic Park” director Richard Attenborough, and Robin Williams’ “Moscow on the Hudson” director Paul Mazursky. Many wondered by late comedian Joan Rivers wasn’t included.
A heart-felt rendition of “I Can’t Let Go” by R&B singer Jennifer Hudson.
