‘Good Times’ TV Show Headed to the Big Screen!

It’s going to be Dy-no- mite! You heard me…looks like they’ll be a film version of hit 1970s TV show ‘Good Times’.
According to Deadline.com, Black-ish creator Kenya Barris will write the feature adaptation of the groundbreaking comedy that brought the nation into the home of Florida and James Evans.
Set in the 1960s the sitcom centers on the Evans family, raising their three kids in the Chicago projects, with of course their crazy neighbors. It sounds like the entire cast may return, except Esther Rolle (who played Florida) who passed away in 1998.
