Grenada has reached an agreement with the International Monetary Fund for a 21.9 million US dollar extended credit facility over three years. The IMF says the government of Grenada has designed an ambitious program to fix the country’s fiscal imbalances. It says while the initial implementation period will be challenging, the country will emerge stronger and more dynamic from the program. At the same time, IMF stresses that the program's success will depend on the efforts of the authorities and other segments of Grenadian society. (Image source: Wikimedia Commons)
