The 1st Test between the West Indies and England has ended in a draw, at North Sound in Antigua. 23-year-old Barbadian Jason Holder hit an unbeaten 103, his first century in any format; he was the man of the match. Other scores: Devon Smith 65 and captain/wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin 57. England fast bowler Jimmy Anderson became his nation’s all-time leading Test wicket-taker with 384, putting him past the old record of 383 set by Sir Ian Botham. He dismissed Ramdin to shatter the English record. The 3-match series is level at 0-0, with the next Test to come in Grenada.
