Say Good-Bye to Honest Ed’s

The lights will soon be turned off for good on the famous Honest Ed’s sign, located at Bloor and Bathurst in Toronto. The land mark sign has been shining bright since 1941 and has stayed shining for 70 years.
David Mirvish the store’s owner has confirmed that the legendary bargain shop has been sold to a B.C. developer.
However, don’t worry, you can still head down and grab a few bargain items because the historic building shopping centre will still be around for another two years.
Honest Ed’s is famous for giving away Turkeys before the Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays.
