The Hornets have returned to Charlotte – at least the name has. The franchise has announced it’s reclaiming the name after a decade, when they were called the Bobcats. During that time, New Orleans’ team called themselves the Hornets before adopting their current name, the Pelicans. Michael Jordan, who owns the newly christened team, pushed for the change almost a year ago, and so it was approved by the NBA last July.
