THE JUICE WITH JEM

The day after Donald Sterling sat down with CNN’s Anderson Cooper to clear his name regarding last months infamous racial rant recording about black people, basketball legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson fired back his commentary on the whole situation.

According to BBC.com, Johnson responded to many of Sterling’s comments from Monday’s interview, including the comment Sterling made that Johnson hasn’t done a thing for the African American community, and that Johnson is setting him up.

“That was not me. I didn’t do that. I don’t know this young lady. This is between you two. But then he wants to include me. And I’m not included in this situation. And then he wants to, you know, ask me what I have done in the minority community. That is well-documented, what I have done.”

Johnson went on to say that he had forgiven Sterling and he would keep him in his prayers.

“I’m a God-fearing man and I’m going to pray for him and hope things work out for him. “But he’s a man who’s upset and he’s reaching. He’s reaching. He’s trying to find something that he can grab on to help him save his team. And it’s not going to happen.”
