Injured Australia bowler Cummins to miss Bangladesh series

Australia fast bowler Pat Cummins will have to miss the two-Test series in Bangladesh next month due to a stress fracture in his back. Cummins wasn’t feeling quite right in the fifth ODI against England, and medical scans showed early signs of injury. It’s not known when he’ll return, but he hopes to be part of the World T20 in March. As for now, all-rounder James Faulkner will stand in for Cummins ahead of the first Test with the Tigers, starting October 9 in Chittagong.
