The highest partnership of the season came from the Delhi Daredevils, who crushed the Mumbai Indians by 37 runs. Man of the match Shreyas Iyer smashed 83 off 56 balls, giving Delhi a score of 190/4 from 20 overs. Iyer joined captain JP Duminy (who made 78 not out) for a 3rd wicket stand of 154, the highest in this year’s tournament. Mumbai bowler Mitchell McClenaghan took 2/38 from 4 overs. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians couldn’t match their target of 191, as they were restricted to 153/9 from 20 overs; captain Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu made 30 each. Bowling for the Daredevils: Imran Tahir picked up 3/22 from 4, Angelo Mathews 2/15 from 2, and Amit Mishra 2/32 from 4 overs.
