Mumbai Indians defeated Chennai Super Kings by 6 wickets. CSK made 158/5 from 20 overs; captain and wicketkeeper MS Dhoni 39 not out. Mumbai fired back with 159/4 from 19.2 overs; Trinidadian opener Lendl Simmons made 38, and wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel 45. Also, Hardik Pandya belted out an unbeaten 21, including 3 sixes, to become man of the match. Bowling for the Super Kings, Ravi Ashwin took 2/17 from 4 overs.
