Sunrisers Hyderabad survived a slight scare to defeat Kings XI Punjab by 5 runs. Captain David Warner became the man of the match with 81 as Sunrisers soared to 185/5 from 20 overs. Bowling for Punjab, Beuran Hendricks picked up 2/40 from 4 overs. David Miller smashed an unbeaten 89 off 44 deliveries – the highest score in the match – but Kings XI still fell short with 180/7 from 20 overs. Bowling for Hyderabad, Moises Henriques 3/16 from 4 overs, and Bipul Sharma 2/13 from 2 overs.
