IPL: Kolkata Knight Riders threaten pull out over Narine

The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) could pull out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament this year amidst a clash with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) over one of their bowlers, Sunil Narine. The Trinidadian off-spinner was banned for a suspect bowling action during the Champions League T20 last year, and since then he’s being modifying his action, missing the West Indies’ tour of India and the recent World Cup. Although the ICC has cleared Narine, the Indian board is demanding more testing before he comes back to KKR. Now reports say the franchise is considering legal action against the BCCI to try and settle the matter. KKR will host the Mumbai Indians in the IPL’s first match, Wednesday April 8.
