Ireland survive third ODI but Zimbabwe claim series

Ireland rallied to claim a consolation victory in Harare; they defeated Zimbabwe by 2 wickets at the 3rd and final ODI match. Zimbabwe were bowled out for 187; Sean Williams 51 and Sikandar Raza 50 led the charge. Bowling for Ireland, man of the match Tim Murtagh picked up 4/32 from 10. The visitors responded with 189/8 from 46.5 overs, including 50 from Paul Stirling. Three Zimbabwean bowlers took 2 wickets each: Wellington Masakadza, Tinotenda Mutombodzi and (making his ODI debut) Taurai Muzarabani. The man of the series title goes to Sikandar Raza, and his nation Zimbabwe won the 3-match series 2-1.
