Author Anthony Horowitz recently apologized to Idris Elba for making comments about the actor being "too street" and "too rough" to be the next James Bond!   In the original interview, Horowitz who is currently promoting "Trigger Mortis" a novel featuring Bond, stated that Elba wouldn't be right for the part, suggesting that fellow English actor Adrian Lester would be a better fit to play the popular spy (who is currently being played by Daniel Craig).   The author insists that his opinion had nothing to do with skin colour and was "mortified to have caused offence." He went on to say that he was imagining Elba's gritty portrayal of DCI John Luther while making his comments.'   FYI: English Actor David Oyelowo is set to bring James Bond to life in the audio version of Horowitz' Trigger Mortis, the latest Bond novel to be commissioned by the estate of Bond's creator Ian Fleming, which will be published on September 8th 2015.   Source: bbc.com/Image: rickey.org
