Rapper trying to become agent

Entertainment mogul and rapper Jay-Z has begun the process of divesting his share of ownership with the Brooklyn Nets to extend his Roc Nation Sports representation service into basketball.
Selling his share will be necessary in order for Jay to obtain his NBA Players Association certification as an agent.
This is due to conflict of interest rules that are in place between the NBA and the NBA Players Association.
