The Canadian Football League (CFL) has announced its 13th commissioner. Jeffrey Orridge will take the reins of Canadian football. The former CBC Sports executive is the first Black commissioner in North American pro sports. He says he’s proud to join a league that is rich in history. Orridge begins the new job April 29. He replaces Mark Cohon, who stepped down as commissioner after eight years.
