Armenian police had to shut down Kanye West’s impromptu free concert in Yerevan early this morning, after the U.S. rapper jumped into a shallow pond known as Swan Lake, causing a ripple effect of fans following suit.
“We’re going to do something different right now,” the 37-year-old performer said before jumping in the lake, inspiring fans to jump in after him.
Authorities and West’s security staff immediately leaped into action, escorting the rapper to safety, pushing away some fans who got a bit to close to the American rapper.
“Crazy night!”, the reality star tweeted, “Kanye wakes me up & says he’s doing a free concert in Yerevan, Armenia! I throw on sweats & we go!”
