LEGENDARY Reggae singer Frankie Paul passed away Thursday night at the University Hospital of West Indies (UHWI) He was 52 years old.
The sad news was confirmed by Paul’s sister, Tisha Clarke in a conversation with reggae artist Wayne Lonesome that was being streamed live on Facebook.
According to Clarke, Paul had been a patient at the UHWI since April 2017 and was ill for an extended period of time.
Paul is known for his groundbreaking work in the Reggae genre during the 1980s and 1990s with hits like “Worries In the Dance”, “Pass the Ku Shung Peng”, “Tidal Wave”, “Cassanova” and “Sarah”.
