Stress may not be the enemy…
Is stress the one thing you wish you could get rid for good?
Well I have some bad news; you’re stuck with it for life.
There are a mountain of studies that preach that stress can and will be the death of you if you don’t eliminate it from your life.
Let’s be realistic here most of us will experience stress on an every day or on a regular basis whether it be work, home or travel related.
There is some light at the end of the tunnel — there is new study by Stanford University Health Psychologist, Kelly McGonigal , which may lighten your spirits on how you view stress.
Her study is based on the mind over matter tactic; if you think stress is bad it will have a negative effect on your body.
Her study has proven that viewing these triggers of stress such as, increase heart rate and heavy breathing in positive light is beneficial.
Not only for your health but it can also help you become more prepared.
McGonigal said to view the stress triggers as your body preparing its self for the task at hand.
For example heavy breathing is your body gathering more oxygen to increase blood flow and an increase heart rate is pumping blood throughout the body to support the physical demand.
