Salvation Army Kettle Stolen From North Carolina Mall
Someone must be very desperate…
Police in Winston-Salem, North Carolina say someone stole a Salvation Army kettle containing $50 from bell ringer James Griffin III, who left his post to help a grandmother and her four grandchildren get through the double doors of a nearby shopping mall.
No video was taken of Tuesday’s theft, and investigators have no leads.
On a happy note, when Griffin returned to his post last Wednesday, a ‘Belk’ department store manager put $100 into the replacement kettle.
