NFL star leaves 3-year-old in car to go to strip club
A former NFL linebacker was arrested in Florida after he left a toddler in a car while he visited a strip club.
Monty Ray Grow, who previously played for the Kansas City Chiefs and the Jacksonville Jaguars left his three-year-old girl locked in the parking lot of a car dealership in Tampa Bay and popped into the Diamond Dolls erotic nightclub on Sunday night.
Authorities say that the girl was found by her mother and grandparents more than 40 minutes later after they used a GPS to track her down.
By time the former NFL-er returned from the club, the girl had been taken away by the mother and grandparents and replaced by waiting officers.
Grow was charged with child abuse and was later released on $5,000 bail.
